Picking Himself Up From School


 So I was going through old caps and found it interesting to see the difference in my capping from when I first started. Very short caps with very little detail. As read through them I saw a lot of great pictures that I would like to reuse and feel were "wasted" on the original. So I thought it would be fun to write a new one and post the old cap for reference! Might be a fun new little feature I do on here from time to time. Hope you enjoy! Obviously the one below is the old cap

      Thank you! Some will expand on the old cap and some will be complete rewrites just using the same image to tell a different story :)

    Hello :)

    Long-time lurker of the TG scene, first time caller (hidden anonymously, naturally lol >_>). Regarding your idea to reuse older pictures, I say go for it!

    Captions don't have to be sacrosanct, like some special little snowflakes; captioners go through the (sometimes annoying-amount of) effort to find the pictures, so why not maximize the amount of enjoyment you and/or the audience gets out of 'em?

    Perhaps think of it like a challenge: "how many different creative ideas can I glean from a single image?" ;)

      Exactly! Finding pics is tough and I've got folders and folders of old caps where it's a great picture with literally two sentences to the cap.

    Longer stories are great. Better, even.

    But some spacing between paragraphs would be great, and it's among the things that don't make this blog as enjoyable as it should. Would you consider that? :)

      I had no idea this was even an issue. No one has ever mentioned it before. I'll try it out though. For the longer caps at least.

    Great idea. Good story - especially the newer one. For me at last bodier type would be great. my eyes are going bad.
