This sounds like a coming of age story where the girl tries to be someone she's not and regrets it later on to find out her original body has been taken by her friend or some perv and is using it for god knows what. If I got the plot right I'm loving this
Really hope Pj takes her old body and has a great life on it.
Throughout the time in the new body it's blossoms into a beautiful young lady and Heather sees it happen.
By this time Heather is 30 and starting to feel the pains of adulthood and realizing her mistakes of wanting to grow up so fast, meanwhile Pj's still out to 4am living his best life.
Or maybe she comes home in her new body and her younger sister becomes jealous but also realizes the opportunity she now has. She can now have the body she so desperately wanted and decides to take Heather's old body using the MBEP.
