The Switcher isn't really bright, if he plans swapping with the teacher, why couldn't he just swap without the kid? Cut the middle man out, so to speak.
It would be a little more creative to get to the teacher as one of her students, instead of a parent. Also,it is a way to mess with Miles.. sticking him in his step-mom's body.
