After Barney testified and way released he broke the one rued no contact because the depression was to great. Barney as Betty ran into his son at the coffee shop. and after a regular thing they started up a friendship to the point Betty became the son's girlfriend. Betty was doing great as the girlfriend till his son wanted to have sex it was weeks till Betty's resolve broke and she became a real woman and lover to her old son now boyfriend. She was introduced to the mother and the rest of the family now Betty was happy she could be around her old family but in a new body. everything was going great till she missed her last two periods Betty then realized she would be a mother and a grandfather all in one.

Looks like Barney inherited her allergy to pollen. He might not have his family, yet I'm sure he'll have the love of his new family.
