Great story! What caused the switch, and will there be a follow-up? Does Cole come clean with it, or will he take advantage of this to get 'closer' to his son? ^o^
A part 2 would be fun. Something like, Mary Ann's rival from work cast a spell intended to swap Mary Ann with her husband but messed it up and got Cole instead.
The spell prevents either Mary Ann or Cole from telling anyone who they really are, (although they can talk to each other) and the rival (who doesn't know the spell miss-fired) hopes that after a month the new "Mary Ann" will have failed so badly at work that she gets the promotion they are both fighting for.
