3 days later Deacon discovered his body was gone, checked out the day after they swapped. The boyfriend explained that the girls' body he was in was tied by magic to the resort. He had the choice of getting a job at the resort and staying in her body or stealing the life of another guest as his life had been stolen. He could choose any body he wanted, young or old, male or female. Deacon sat there stunned. His college degree was gone, his family, his car and apartment, all his student debt. Hmmm, his parents were divorced and hated each other and he never saw them. His grandmother had raised him and she was gone now. He had no siblings, all his college buddies were married or had moved so far away. His job prospects were slim at best and there was that $250,00 in student loan debt for a degree in a field that wasn't hiring anywhere. The boyfriend explained he was in the same spot. He had been a younger college girl on spring break a few years back. She had hated college, she discovered she loved being a guy. She never looked for another body to swap into. She can't get pregnant, her "girlfriends" rotated out every week or so on average. they were a lot of fun for the few days before they discovered the truth. She had no real responsibilities except to show the girls she slept with a good time which was fun.
Deacon decided to look for another body, one without crushing debt and maybe a job he could enjoy. Two weeks later, as the time limit to get locked into this body approached, Deacon decided on the life of a trophy wife who hated Montana where she lived with her billionaire husband.
