. There "was, once" (in the original "root timeline"): A simple linear history were no time_travel ever happened to "Kevin´s Mom" (Karen). She had a baby (Kevin) circa 2006/2007. Then by late 2022 (or early 2023), Karen made a wish, "targeting" her 12 ot 13 year old son. . Either the mind of Kevin abandoned that timeline (leaving behind a comatose, braindead vegetal/corpse), or rather a copy of it was created [for either case: "Kevin" ].
. In the past of the "first iteration" (a perfect duplicate of the original timeline) by year 2006, the mind of that "native" Karen was completely erased & overwriten by "Kevin". . "Kevin" then just assumed he was somehow in the past of THE (only in existence, unique) timeline, so he had to ensure baby!Kevin would be born, or "he" may cease to exist [this is actually imposible, but "Kevin" simply does not know]. . While possesing the body of this other!Karen woman (technically not "his" mother), "Kevin" would eventually get pregnant with a boy (or a girl); because of the Butterfly Effect this would be actually a sibling (of who would had being the other!Kevin for the "iteration 1" timeline), even if it is an identical twin brother perfectly the same at the genetic level.
. Assuming "Kevin" gave birth a baby boy very similar to how "he" looked like on "his" previous life [ also calling this baby Kevin (1!Kevin) ]: About 13 years later (the 2022/2023 of "iteration 1"), in order to ensure "he" is not going to dissapear, "Kevin" recreates the same discussion on the same day and place (to make the same wish), this time targeting "his" son 1!Kevin [who may or may not suffer a similar fate, since we do not know if the "wish" was caused by the original Karen´s innate powers (on her mind/soul), or something external that could act upon the will of "Kevin" using a similar body from that position in time at that exact moment].
-> "Kevin" COULD try instead to wish something different [like wishing "she" could understand 1!Kevin, getting into his body (restoring his life and youth); but likely would not [unless "her" current life is truly miserable]; because "Kevin" KNOWS for sure how amazing it is to be an adult woman (but does NOT know how it would feel to be an adult man), plus the risk of ceasing to exist.
{Meanwhile, on "iteration 2", year 2006}: The mind of "1!Kevin" (or a copy) overwittens the native other_other!Karen [a carbon copy of the original one], starting the same as it is in this caption; but the final outcome over the years would be different [specially if "1!Kevin" has daughter (or a son that looks completely different that "him")]. -> Eventually there would be a "# iteration" timeline were it is clear for ~whoever~ replaces the mind of the native Karen that their firstborn child is NOT "him" (so no risk of changing history). Then there could be some kind of "negotiation" between them about how to posibly use that "wish" (assuming it still happens) in other posible ways.
You got the idea of it. It doesn't make sense of it, but it does, It remind of book, I read that it one a guy who created a time portal. Goes back in time. But it not as simple as that he or she wake as a 18 year old girl. He/she pretended to not remember anything. But the were told, then he/she probably change his time-line. But the reasons are strange as best. So he/she to live her live as separate as possible. What happened next that she to nugs him in right direction a builds what is happening 20 or so years to come. What happens after that well, that is a story. A story another was of a guy. Who when to computer show, got a morph demo of what he would be as a girl and warning some strange cosmic incident. The next morning he woke as a girl actual girl. In that moment he and she were alike sorta if he were her, her life and his were similar and different at same time. As he was trying figure things out. Possible returning to his former life. He was living her life. Would he accept it for find a clue to get back. There are many other possibilities.
